Community/Interagency Partnerships
The Kern High School District (KHSD) is dedicated to maximizing student success and ongoing communication among all stakeholders is the key to making sure our students are supported to the best of our ability. KHSD is committed to a quality educational program, responsive to the needs of our students in a safe and nurturing environment. KHSD will focus on coordination of services, leveraging of existing district and community resources/partnerships, and alignments of systems to benefit students and families. KHSD will coordinate resources and services for families, students, and the school with community groups, including businesses, agencies, cultural and civic organizations, and colleges or universities.
A key component is the development of collaborative partnerships to build capacity between KHSD and community partners. Please contact Brian Mendiburu to discuss Student Behavior & Supports, relevant community partnerships, and coordinated/aligned student support structures that are related to the mission and vision of KHSD. Our mission is to provide programs and services to allow ALL students to graduate from high school prepared to succeed in the workplace or at the post-secondary level.
