The Kern High School District is observing Black History Month from February 1 to March 1 by celebrating the achievements of African American individuals throughout our nation's history while recognizing their struggles for freedom and equality.
Around two-thousand students from across the state participated in the Virtual Enterprise (VE) State Conference and Exhibition held at Mechanics Bank Theater and Convention Center on Thursday, January 26, and Friday, January 28.

Virtual Enterprise students from across the state will converge on Mechanics Bank Arena this Thursday and Friday for the Virtual Enterprise State Conference and Exhibition. The Bakersfield Californian highlighted the program and one of KHSD's winning Business Plan teams.
