2021 Superintendent's First In Class Awards Video Celebration

The KHSD Superintendent’s First In Class Awards are presented to those students with the highest grade point average in their school’s graduating class. On average, over 90% of all First In Class Award winners, earn the highest possible grade point average (GPA) of 4.50.

Project BEST Senior Scholarship Virtual Celebration

Project Black Excellence in Scholarship and Teaching (BEST) is a collaboration between the Kern High School District, California State University, Bakersfield, and local business partners. Each year, students who exemplify academic excellence are celebrated and awarded scholarships.
