Provisional Intern Permit (PIP), Short Term Staff Permit (STSP), and Waiver

The KHSD provides district and on-site support and coaching to all PIP, STSP, and Waiver candidates as required by the program standards and regulations of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).  As the employer, the KHSD sponsors qualified candidates on such permits/waivers.  The Director of Instructional Services and site administrators assign coaches to these candidates who provide guidance and assistance to them throughout the school year to aid in their professional development and growth.
