Sale of Disposal List May 2025

The Kern High School District's Instruction Division hereby notifies the public that there is a list of instructional materials, compiled from our various school sites, that will be up for sale or disposal. These instructional materials are outdated and/or damaged and are subject to replacement. In accordance with Board Policy 3270, a Public Notice was provided regarding the disposal of these materials. This item will be brought back as an action item at the June Board Meeting.

We will be open to Public Comments on this matter at the Board Meeting on May 5, 2025.

Career Technical Education

Since 2014, the goal of the Kern High School District's CTE expansion effort has been to create more opportunities for students to access career and technical programs while pursuing their high school diplomas.
KHSD's commitment to CTE has resulted in:
• Growth in the number of program offerings at our premier CTE capstone campuses (Regional Occupational Center and Career Technical and Education Center)
• New and varied CTE offerings at our 19 comprehensive sites and 6 alternative school sites
• New and dynamic partnerships with local industry partners
