LCAP Federal Addendum
The purpose of the plan is to develop an integrated, coordinated set of actions that Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) will take to ensure that they meet certain programmatic requirements, including student academic services designed to increase student achievement and performance, coordination of services, needs assessments, consultations, supplemental services, services to homeless students, and others as required.
Title III funding is made available to Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) to provide supplementary programs and services to limited English proficient (LEP) students, known as English learners (ELs). The purpose of the subgrant is to assist EL students to acquire English and achieve grade-level and graduation standards. Recipients and funding amounts are subject to budget and administrative adjustments.
