Public Information Office

The Public Information Office aims to provide our students, staff, parents, families and community stakeholders with relevant and timely information. This site contains KHSD press releases, the KHSD Weekly Wrap-Up, and district news. 

 

The Public Information Office is dedicated to focusing our efforts in the following areas:

1. Provide students, families and the community with streamlined information that is relevant to their specific needs and reflects the district’s mission and beliefs.
2. Facilitate ongoing, two-way internal communication district wide.
3. Provide Spanish interpretation & translation requests across the district. 
4. Positively promote and publicize the Kern High School District and schools.
5. Cooperate with media inquiries recognizing press right to facts and their responsibility to report and/or publish information in a timely manner.
