Principal Partners' Day

The District’s annual “open house” is a half day event that begins simultaneously at 21 KHSD school sites. More than 400 local business, government and educational leaders will spend the morning at one of the schools. The event culminates with a program held at the Career Technical Education Center (CTEC).

"As the Kern High School District Superintendent, I am honored to welcome our educational partners to Principal Partners’ Day. This annual event recognizes and celebrates the partnerships between our District and the valued partners who share our commitment to a tradition of excellence. Principal Partners’ Day offers a unique opportunity for our outstanding principals to showcase the full range of academic and extracurricular programs and services offered at their school sites."

– Michael Zulfa, Ed.D.

The school site activities include visits with teachers, students and school officials. The visits provide an in depth look at the full range of school site programs and services, both academic and extracurricular. Principal Partners’ Day is co-hosted by the KHSD Educational Foundation. For additional information, contact Graci Ashmore in the KHSD Superintendent’s Office, 827-3154.
