Educational Foundation
The Kern High School District Education Foundation is a public, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) foundation committed to supporting specific Kern High School District programs. Founded in 1989, the Education Foundation has helped raise more than $3.5 million for such programs as the KHSD Superintendent’s First in Class Awards, Project BEST, Principal Partners’ Day, and the Physics Olympics. The guiding force of the Education Foundation is its Board of Directors which is composed of community volunteers who provide the voice of the community and significant life experience to the Education Foundation’s decision-making process.
