The Kern High School District is proud to announce a partnership between local educational organizations and businesses benefiting our students and our community. The first Kern County Career Expo is coming up on Thursday, February 22, 2018. This is a free event at Rabobank Convention Center, 1001 Truxtun Avenue from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

The Energy & Utilities Academy from Independence High School organized a Career and Science Fair focused on STEM jobs and educational opportunities. Special guests included 165 Lakeside School 8th graders and future Falcons. Channel 23's Josh Sanders has the story.

Two Kern High School District Continuation Schools have been recognized by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction for program excellence and student support.
