2018 Jim Burke Light & Liberty Award winner named

Project BEST founder, Mrs. Gayle Batey, was named the 2018 Jim Burke Light & Liberty Award winner at this year's Principal Partners Day event. Project BEST originally started in three KHSD schools. Today, 16 campuses have Project BEST programs that aim to increase African American high school graduation and college going rates.
