ROC Student Tours

Over 1,200 students from all of the KHSD schools visited the Regional Occupational Center (ROC) January 24th - 25th for the annual ROC Tour. Visiting students heard first hand from the ROC Ambassadors about all of the different opportunities that are available at ROC. Students visited with students from each of the 27 different programs during an interactive session with program booths.

The ROC offers students an opportunity to get a head start on their career path. Students at the ROC acquire both career readiness skills and technical skills, earn both high school and college credits, and earn valuable industry certifications. Enrolling in an ROC program is a great way to get prepared for college and career.

Additionally, ROC has Recruitment and Career Technicians that visit the various high schools in the district throughout the school year.
