Project Lead the Way (PLTW) students at Liberty High School (LHS) celebrated years of rigorous, relevant, and project based learning at a special ceremony honoring the first graduating class of the Pathway to Engineering program.
Over the years, these dedicated students used 3-D modeling software, designed and built hydrogen fuel cell robotic cars, and created solutions to challenges relating to water, food supply, and energy sources.
The outstanding LHS seniors were recognized with medals and certificates during a dinner and awards presentation on May 22, 2017, attended by Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh. The PLTW Pathway to Engineering program is a partnership between PLTW, the Kern High School District, and Chevron.
