Kern High School District's VEI Teams Triumph in State Business Plan Competition, Headed to National Finals in NYC

Congratulations to the Kern High School District's Virtual Enterprises International, Inc. (VEI) teams for their outstanding presentations, placing top in the state in the business plan competition at the VEI State Conference and Exhibition. 

 

We are thrilled to support our KHSD VE teams as they gear up and progress to the Virtual Enterprise National Competition in New York City in April.

 

Thousands of VE students from across California and neighboring states representing 71 VE firms (classrooms) showcased their entrepreneurial skills and talents during the two-day competition at Mechanics Bank Theater and Convention Center on Wednesday, January 17, and Thursday, January 18. The state competition gathered the top 42 business plan teams with the highest scores from earlier regional competitions. In the final rounds of the state competition, VE firms competed across numerous categories, including Business Plan, Marketing, Human Resources, Elevator Pitch, Apprentice, Salesmanship, Rapid Prototyping, and Job Interviews.
