Student talents on display at KHSD Visual Arts Showcase

The annual event, celebrating student artists and showcasing their best work, was held on Tuesday, May 16, at the Bakersfield Museum of Art in downtown Bakersfield.

The gallery was packed with family, friends, and teachers excited to see student pieces displayed professionally.

The evening culminated with an awards ceremony in the following categories: Best 2-D, Best 3-D, Best Digital/Graphic Design, Best Mixed Media, Best Use of Color, Best Drawing, Best Portrait, Senior Artist, and Rising Star Artist.
