Students showcase their talents during Youth Art Month

The YAM exhibit opened at the Bakersfield Art Association earlier this month. This year’s exhibit features student art from Bakersfield, Central Valley, Golden Valley, Highland, Liberty, North, South, Stockdale, Tierra Del Sol, Vista, and Vista West high schools. YAM recognizes the accomplishments of art education in K-12 schools. Students who received awards from the local show will advance to state judging. Congratulations to the following students:
