The Kern High School District is currently seeking candidates for Substitute School Bus Driver Trainees.

Qualified candidates must…
• Possess a clean DMV, (H-6) Driving Record
• Enjoy working with high school age students
• Be willing to provide excellent customer service
• Be dependable and reliable

Trainees are compensated during behind-the-wheel training at the rate of $15.71 per hour.

Successful completion of the Driver Training Program leads to substituting for the District as a School Bus Driver.

Kern High School District, Substitute School Bus Drivers are currently compensated $17.29 per hour.
