Designated Subjects Adult Education and Career Technical Education (CTE)
The KHSD provides support and mentoring to all Designated Subjects Adult Education and CTE candidates as required by the program standards and regulations of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). New Teacher Support acts as the facilitator of the candidate's credential program in partnership with the sponsoring County Office of Education. New Teacher Support assigns mentors to these candidates and provides guidance and assistance to them throughout the school year as they advance in clearing their preliminary credentials.
