APEX

KHSD utilizes online learning in many ways. Apex is utilized in regular academic programs as well as specialized programs that may use it as stand-alone courses for the purposes of credit recovery or advancement where available. Currently over 60 courses are utilized including courses that cover common core, and A-G approved courses. This digital platforms provides students with standards-based instructional tools that deliver dynamic instruction and create active learning experiences that keep students engaged. The purposeful use of media throughout instruction provides students with opportunities to explore ideas and understand content at their own pace.
