Effective October 1st
This is the only time an employee, who declined insurance when they were hired, can sign up, unless their coverage is termed mid year. Also, this is the only time that an employee can change their dental plan or add dependents that were not originally added to their coverage when they originally signed up. To ensure the change or changes are made; it is necessary to have the paperwork to the Insurance Office before September 1st.
Sign ups received between September 14th and September 28th will still have an October 1st effective date, but there will be a delay when benefits are available.
Paperwork will be accepted up and through September 28. Any paperwork received after September 28th at 4:30 WILL NOT be accepted.
Insurance packets can be mailed to your site via District mail or can be picked up in Human Resources. The same applies to the Dental forms. They also can be emailed to your site upon request.
Dental plan changes as well as dependent changes can be requested by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
