School Supply Drive – Sponsored by Stockdale International Club

 

Universities, community colleges, and high schools throughout California are participating in a school supply drive for the impoverished youth of Afghanistan, a country confronted with an 82% illiteracy rate. Poor afghan families need assistance to send their kids to school with the supplies they need to succeed in the classroom.

Acceptable donations: pens, pencils, rulers, notebooks, folders, papers, backpacks, binders, sharpeners, erasers, highlighters, etc. ANYTHING RELATED TO SCHOOL.

Donations will be collected in 2^nd period classes from October 6^th – October 17^th. Donations will also be collected at the Homecoming Game (October 10^th) and the Orchestra Concert (October 16^th).
