MS OFFICE 2003: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access Learn any (or all) of the Microsoft office productivity applications in this course. Upon completion of these courses, you will be prepared to take the MOS exams (Microsoft Office Specialist). Courses offered:
MS Word Instruction is given in word processing using MS Word. It is excellent preparation for other software in the MS Office sequence. It is a requirement for the Computer Operator Certificate. It is recommended that the Introduction class be taken as a preparatory course
MS Excel This course is part of the MS Office sequence. The student learns beginning and intermediate spreadsheet techniques and how to create charts and graphs. It is a requirement for the Computer Operator Certificate. It is recommended that the Introduction class be taken as a preparatory course.
MS PowerPoint The principals of presentation design, creation, and execution are taught in this class. Students create slides, outlines, speaker notes, and audience handouts. Presentations include text, clipart, graphs, tables, charts and animation.
MS Publisher This is a course in beginning and intermediate Desktop Publishing. Students learn to create business flyers, brochures, announcements, and cards for all occasions. It is recommended that students take a word processing class prior to enrolling in MS Publisher.
MS Access This course includes an introduction to the fundamentals of data base design. It is a requirement for the Computer Operator Certificate.
