REMINDER

LEVEL 1- 10  period cuts:  A warning letter will be mailed to the student's parent/guardian as well as a phone call to the parent/guardian to discuss the consequences of additional cuts.

Students:  Make sure to bring your money this week as the Juniors will be selling the results of the compatibility questionnaires during both lunches and Thursday will be a Food Sale Day.,  There will be pizza-by-the-slice, lemonade, popcorn, corn-on-the-cob, fruit, McDonald's hamburgers and many more delicious items to enjoy.

Reminder that the dress code is still in affect during the Spring week dress-up days.  No inappropriate pajamas or clothing are to be worn.  You must wear clothes under your toga.

RFL Club:  Meet in room 403 with Mrs. Maldonado TODAY after school.  All luminaria money must be turned in.  We will also talk about our big fundraiser dinner for April 17.  All students are encouraged to meet for this BIG event!   STAFF:  Join our fight against cancer and sponsor or host a table.  For more details see Connie Maldonado.

Seniors:  Mr. Abel Guzman (CSUB ETS) will be available tomorrow, 10:00-3:00, in the Career Center to help with any college, financial aid or scholarship questions.

Attention Seniors heading to Bakersfield College:  You can now view BC's summer and fall schedules on line.  Plan ahead so that on April 29 you can register for the classes that you want.  First ones to register get the schedule that they want, not the leftovers.  Plan ahead!www.bakersfieldcollege.edu/academic/schedule/

Seniors:  If you are interested in trying out for the Bakersfield College Cheer Team, please see Ms. Black as soon as possible for information regarding try-outs.

Sophomores & Juniors:  Help make Shafter High home to an incoming freshman next year by joining Link Crew.  Fun activities will be planned throughout the year for you and your freshman buddies!  See Mrs. Schluter in room 802 for an application.

Juniors & Seniors:  Bakersfield College (Delano Campus) is having a high school orientation planned for Friday, April 16, on the Delano Campus.  The purpose is to provide the incoming freshmen with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Delano campus, personnel, and admission procedures in a more personal, specialized manner.  If interested, sign up in the Career Center.

Seniors:  If you are interested in flying helicopters as a career, sign up in the Career Center to attend a presentation from SRT Helicopters Flight Training School.  Training would be used for firefighting, EMS, rescue, law enforcement, agriculture and Electric New Gathering.
