Classified Meeting-Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2nd period

 

Seniors:  Meet at the football field immediately after 7th period to take your '09 picture and the panoramic picture for the yearbook.  Don't be left out!

Chess Club:  Meet in Mrs. Hardin's room 301 right after school TODAY for club pictures and then our tournament at BHS.

Interact Club:  Meet TODAY after school in room 802.

The Drama Club will hold it's next meeting tomorrow immediately after school in room 1101.  All members should attend to discuss the Christmas party, thespian inductions and possible thespian auditions before Christmas break.  Any questions or input?  Please see Mrs. Stanley in room 1101.

Fun in Nature Club will meet tomorrow after school in room 412.

Students & Staff:  As the weather changes, you have the opportunity to help those in need by donating coats, jackets, jeans, any type of clothing.  You can also help out by donating food items that are not perishable, including canned goods and shelf food.  Please bring your items to room 405, sponsored by our own AVID club and Shafter's Healthy Start.

All Students:  The 2009 full-color yearbook is available for pre-order in the finance Office.  The cost is $70, $65 with an ASB sticker.  Hurry and reserve your copy before the price increases after the 1st semester.

 

 

 

Seniors:  Please meet for a short meeting after school on Friday in room 1301 to discuss grad night.  If you cannot attend, stop by during lunch.

Seniors:  Mr. Jesse Quintanilla from CSUB ETS Program will be in the Career Center from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. TODAY.  He and Abel Guzman will help complete college applications, personal statements, essays or assist with any other requirements or questions.  November 30 is the deadline to apply to the UC CSU and other 4-year colleges.

All ETS Seniors who have yet to complete their college applications are invited to a workshop TODAY after school in the Computer Lab, room 804.  ETS staff will be present to guide you through the process and assist you with any questions you may have.

Seniors:  Mr. Cardenas from BC will be here TODAY until 2:00 to help with BC admission and orientation.  if you have not registered for BC, see Mr. Cardenas in the Career Center.

Seniors:  If you would like to purchase a senior advertisement for the 2009 yearbook, bring your pictures and message to room 609 as soon as possible and you will be able to design your advertisement.  First come first serve, so hurry to reserve your spot.

$500 Cash Reward!  If you have any information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for over 30 vehicle vandalisms in Shafter, please contact the Shafter Police Department at 746-8500 or Shafter High's Officer Edmiston.
