| The Transition Partnership Program (T.P.P.) is a cooperative contract between the Kern high School District and the California Department of Rehabilitation. The primary goal of the Transition partnership Program is to prepare students for entry into the workforce and promote success, as they make the transition from high school to competitive employment. | ![]() |

T.P.P. consists of an extensive support team of school staff, Job Developers, Job Coaches and Counselors from the Department of Rehabilitation. Through the Transition Partnership Program, students participate in a curriculum that includes work ethics, specific job skills, self-awareness, social skills, career and community awareness and independent living skills. The program is designed to teach job skills leading to employment. |
