FS or JV sport - first year -  participation certificate
Two years of same sport at the Fresh/Soph or Junior Varsity level - receive the Block L and metal emblem
Varsity sport - whatever year in school - receive the Block L and metal emblem
Subsequent years after receiving Block L - receive a gold bar
