The Kern High School District desires to ensure every KHSD graduate is ready for a job, additional career training, and/or college upon graduation. To that end, the Kern High School district offers Career and Technical Education programs in fourteen of the fifteen career pathways as defined in the Career Technical Education Framework for public Schools.

Each of our school sites, which includes eighteen comprehensive high schools, five continuation high schools, two career centers, a Regional Occupation Center, and an adult school, offer a wide array of CTE courses. For a complete list of career pathways and courses offered at each school, please contact the counseling department at your school.
