ITALIAN
ICE is back in the Student Store, available flavors are Lemon, Mango and
Strawberry; try a refreshing cup for $ 1.50.
Also, Bagel’s are now available, Plain or Cinnamon for $ 1.00
Every
East Bakersfield High School student must carry their school ID card while on
campus. Students, who do not have an ID
card, can take their picture at the registrar’s office before school, after
school or during lunch. After a picture
is taken, the ID card will be available the following
day after school in the finance office.
Please
check the Finance Office window for lost ID cards. New cards can be purchased before school,
during lunch and after school for $3.00 at the same window.
Cross Country- We are
looking for 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade boys and girls to complete our team. All students interested in cross
country; we have started practice. Currently we are meeting
in front of the old gym. Come get in shaped for that winter sport.
All Varsity girls’ golf will
meet with Coach Czechowski and Beardsley after school in the new gym alley.
Reminder, all freshmen can
still come out for any fall sport this week only.
Lunchtime Intramurals are back!
Volleyball will be the first activity. Come to the gym starting this
Friday to participate in the fun. Everyone is welcome to play.
League play will start in a couple of weeks, so make sure you see Mr. Colvin to
sign up.
September 9th is
the last day to register for the October SAT. See Mrs. Dominguez in the Career
Center for information on the online registration process.
The PSAT will be given
Wednesday, October 15th. The cost is $14. Sign up in the Finance
Office. Space is limited.
Papa John’s Bread Sticks are
back in the Student Store beginning at lunch on Tuesday Aug 19th.
If you are interested in
working in the Student Store during lunch or 5th period, please
contact Mrs. Ross in the Student Store for an application. Only students
with excellent attendance and good work ethic need apply.
Students that need to go to
the Nurses Office must report to class first and have their teacher call Ext.
16 to notify the nurse that they will be sending them down.
Seniors: Come to a meeting
on Tuesday, August 26 in Mrs. Munn’s room 457 during lunch to discuss plans for
the Senior Sunrise Breakfast.

period. Please verify that they are in the ROC Program by checking their
schedule. The ROC bus leaves at 11:30.
