ALL COL. NICHOLS ELEMENTARY ALUMNI! If you would like to volunteer at Nichols
Elementary, here’s your opportunity. Friday March 26 Nichols is having a
carnival and would love to have Nichols Alumni help out: setting up, working
booths, etc. See Mr. Flores for more details.

All Sophomores and Juniors: Would you like to be
a mentor with our 2010-2011 incoming freshman? Then, Link Crew Wants YOU!!!
We are now recruiting new Link Crew Leaders for the next school year.
Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Pick up an application in
Ms. Miller’s counseling office ASAP. The deadline to return your
application is Friday, March 26th, 2010.
SENIORS
with 3.5 and above who will enroll in BC for fall semester: Tonight is
the President’s Scholars reception at 6 pm. Don’t forget. Parents are
invited, too.
JUNIORS
AND SOPHOMORES: ASB Officer Petitions are OPEN! If you
are interested in student government and want to run for ASB President, ASB
Vice President, ASB Secretary, or ASB Business Manager, then pick up a
candidate petition packet from the Activities Office. You can also pick up a
Job Description packet to get to know what each position does. ALL PETITIONS
ARE DUE BY MARCH 25.
GSA will have another guest speaker meeting next Friday
3/19/10 during lunch in 612. Students should get their lunch quickly and come
over fast to hear our speakers.
Summer Employment opportunity: Students
18 years and older. The Bakersfield
Blaze Baseball Club is looking for people to work
concessions, on-field promotions, merchandise representatives, as well as other
game day positions. Interested students, see Mrs. Dominguez in the Career
Center for additional information.
Job Opportunity: Sno-Shack of Bakersfield is looking to hire
energetic, motivated, responsible people to work in the shaved ice kiosks this
summer. Interested students must be 16 years old by 4/13/10; have a 3.0
GPA; and GREAT attendance record. If you meet the requirements, see Mrs.
Dominguez in the Career Center for an application.
Rangel Chiropractic Office is
now accepting applicants: The professional health care office is
currently looking for someone who can successfully manage the front desk and
help them provide both exception and professional care to their patients.

SENIORS: Graduation Announcements will be handed out on Thursday March 18th,
DURING LUNCH- IN FRONT OF THE CAFETERIA, if you do not pick them up on that
date you will have to go down to Jostens @ 1612-20th Street.

to all SENIORS…..time is running out to make up period cuts…..remember to check
with your counselor or Mr. Lauria in the Dean’s office for make up hours
needed……..Saturday Work, Detention (before and after school)Home work club,
tutoring will make up period cuts……..pick up a form from the Dean’s office. We
want ALL SENIORS to walk the stage!!!!!!!!!Don’t be left out……
