Detention / After School Program

Detention:

Detentions are assigned by the teacher. A student has 3 days to serve their detention: the day they get it and the two following days (Friday is the exception). Detention is not held on Friday and if you receive a detention that day, you have to serve it on or before the following Wednesday. Detention is held right after school in room P302. If you do not serve detention, the teacher will notify the Dean via referral and an ASP will be issued.

ASP (After School Program):

The After School Program (formerly known as Saturday work) is held Mondays & Wednesdays, starting at 2:50 to 4:15 p.m.  ASP does not meet on holidays or school in-service days. You may serve ASP before your due date on any Monday or Wednesday (it is your responsibility to tell the supervisor that you are there to do ASP and to get on the roll sheet).  Students meet outside the Cafeteria no later than 2:50 p.m. to check in.  If you are late, you will not be able to serve ASP.  There will be three roll calls, if you miss one, you do not get credit for serving ASP.  At the discretion of the ASP supervisors, if you are not behaving or doing an acceptable amount of work they may dismiss you and you will receive no credit.  If you do not receive credit by your due date for any reason, you are suspended from school the Thursday following your ASP due date.  If you ride a bus, a late bus is provided.  The late bus leaves at 4:30 p.m.
