Mr. Wykoff
Email Mr. Wykoff

I graduated from California State University, Bakersfield with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry in 1992.  I earned my teaching credential from University of La Verne in 2003.  According to the federal government, I am "highly qualified" to teach Chemistry and Earth Science, but I couldn't tell you how they determined that.

For the 2005-2006 school year, I will be teaching Integrated Science and Chemistry.  Integrated Science is a new course for AHS this year, and we are looking forward to having fun with the new curriculum.  In addition to teaching, I am the Grade Level Leader for Integrated Science and one of the campus Professional Development Leaders.

This year, I will celebrate my 13th year of marriage, which thus far has produced 2 great little boys.  One of my favorite things about teaching is being able to take my family on summer trips to such places as New York or Yellowstone.

In my spare time, I enjoy running, bicycling, and reading.  During this school year, I will be running the Las Vegas Marathon, and the Walt Disney World Marathon in Florida.
