Science I is an integrated, activity-based laboratory course that introduces concepts from the life, physical, and earth sciences. Emphasis is placed on environmental, energy, and natural resource issues. The solar system and earth structure are also explored. Other topics include atomic structure, basic chemistry, genetics and reproduction. This course is an essential foundation for all other sciences.
