Advanced biology builds on previously learned concepts of cell biology, biochemistry, classification, anatomy, and environmental science. This course introduces new and relevant topics in the areas of botany, entomology, taxonomy, paleontology, ecology, physiology, and genetics. Lab work, field studies, collecting techniques, and student projects and presentations will be emphasized.
