SUGGESTIONS FOR SUCCESS
The following are suggestions to help all of us have a successful and rewarding mathematics experience at Arvin High School:
- Attend school on a regular basis-Mathematics is a cumulative experience and students really do miss out when they are absent.
- Get extra help- all teachers are readily available to provide extra help after school, all students have to do is ask.
- Participate- all class grades depend on student participation. We believe students learn by doing.
- Complete homework- mathematics homework will be given on a near daily basis and constitutes a major portion of a student's grade.
- Get involved- feel free to call your child's teacher anytime that you have questions or concerns.
- Take advantage -of peer coaching available twice a week.
