Chorus is a singing group for both boys and girls which is intended to teach students various singing techniques. No audition is required to become a member. This course is designed to help students who speak a language or languages other than English to develop English fluency and proficiency through the study and performance of music. ESL choral students study music reading and performance techniques. Students will practice English pronunciation, text translation and analysis, and study grammarical constructions.

Mixed Chorus is designed for the student who has a sincere desire to sing and is committed to being part of a performing ensemble. Prior experience is not mandatory for incoming students. Students will have a working knowledge of the basics, i.e. rhythm, melody and harmony upon completion of the course.

Chamber Singers is an advanced vocal ensemble, available to students by instructor approval only. Auditions are required. Chamber Singers performs advanced choral literature and explores advanced vocal techniques, music theory and music perforrnance decorum.
