Principal’s Message

Arvin High maintains the highest standards for instruction, curricular offerings, safety, beauty and cleanliness. Arvin has been immersed in the school reform movement and has dedicated much time and effort to improving student academic achievement. The school prides itself in maintaining college-going rates that are equal or better than the country or state averages.

In addition, students have the opportunity to prepare for the workplace by enrolling in courses within a career path or applying to one of the two California Partnership Academies. As an active member of the South Valley Neighborhood Partnership, Arvin maintains continuous articulation with the four major feeder schools, colleges, community businesses and agencies that serve the Arvin/Lamont areas. It is through these partnerships that Arvin High School is better able to serve the needs of its community.
