Principal Partners' Day

The District’s annual “open house” is a half day event that begins simultaneously at 21 KHSD school sites. More than 400 local business, government and educational leaders will spend the morning at one of the schools. The event culminates with a program held at the Career Technical Education Center (CTEC).

“Our Principal Partners’ Day program is a perfect opportunity to get a firsthand look at how the District’s many ‘win-win partnerships’ benefit both our students and our community,”
– Bryon Schaefer, Ed.D.

The school site activities include visits with teachers, students and school officials. The visits provide an in depth look at the full range of school site programs and services, both academic and extracurricular. Principal Partners’ Day is co-hosted by the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce, the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the KHSD Educational Foundation. For additional information, contact Graci Ashmore in the KHSD Superintendent’s Office, 827-3154.
