NEW
- Approved Plan for 2010 Boundary Changes
(Foothill and Highland High School)
|
On Monday November 2nd, the KHSD Board of Trustees approved a boundary adjustment which will impact students attending Foothill High School and Highland High School beginning Fall, 2010.
Students currently attending these schools will not be affected by these boundary changes. Tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade students living in the transition areas will continue to attend the schools they attended as ninth graders. However, parents of students who are scheduled to attend one of these schools as incoming ninth graders during the 2010 – 2011 school year should check the boundary map below to determine which school their son or daughter is scheduled to attend.
For information about the proposed boundary adjustments, check the Proposed boundary adjustment maps below, email

The following maps are in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf). Acrobat Reader is available as a free download from www.adobe.com. Acrobat Reader includes a Zoom In function that allows a detailed view of a section of each map.

Note - Students entering as ninth graders in August 2010 who have an older brother or sister attending during the 2010 - 2011 school year as a tenth, eleventh, or twelfth grader at a school other than the one the ninth grader is scheduled to go to under the new boundaries will have the option of attending school with the older brother or sister. This option does not apply if the older brother or sister is at a school through open enrollment or intra-district transfer. Requests to exercise the option of having the incoming ninth grade student attend school with the older brother or sister should be made at the school the older sibling is attending.
